CLM is a Spanish School founded in 1979, and through the years we have learned how to transform your stay in Antigua into the best experience you could ever have by learning Spanish and knowing the surroundings of this historical city.
The School operates in two buildings in order to fulfill our students needs. The central building of CLM is located downtown Antigua only two and a half blocks from the Central Park and one and a half blocks from the bus station. Because we are located downtown, our students have access to various services such as the central market, the post office, churches, hotels, a great variety of restaurants and local craft shops.
The School’s fundamental objectives are to provide a first class learning experience to our students and to provide jobs for Guatemalan people. Presently, this kind of work represents a very important source of income in our country.
The School has a complete library with all the available books containing language grammar and conversation, general and universal literature and many others. Books and texts can be lent to the students while they study in the school. The School also has a conference room and an audio-visual room available for students use at any time.
Our Teachers
In addition of having their professional title, every professor must have good relation skills and the ability to communicate with others. They have completed the necessary training and have experience teaching Spanish as a second language for more than 25 years. All of them have a specific development plan for teaching grammar and conversation using methods that fit the School’s system.
All of our professors have worked with students with different backgrounds such as basic or advanced students, professionals, diplomatics, volunteers, college students, teenagers, children, etc. This means that it doesn’t matter what your Spanish level is, our professors will give you the best service and will make you learn in an easy way.
